Blogmas Day 5: Lots of Layers

One of my fav things about winter is getting to layer my clothes and getting to wear loads of scarves and woolly jumpers. For today's post I've put together a few pics of my fav outfits. Hope you like them.

Winter Outfits

These last few days have been really cold and I've found myself wrapping up in warmer clothes a lot more. I thought I'd do a fashion post today showing you some of my fav winter outfits. Autumn Outfits

So seeing as we're stepping into Autumn, I thought I'd do a post with some outfit inspiration for this season. I love this season as it's not too cold but it's cool enough to start adding layers. I recently wore my new grey Uggs which made me extremely excited for these cooler months as I absolutely love my Uggs! Anyway I hope you enjoy these outfits, let me know what you think :)

 

6 Years of Loving

Yesterday myself and Kevin celebrated our 6th anniversary together! We kept it casual and went for dinner in Nandos (because clearly I am obsessed), played pool (mainly Kevin's reward for taking me to Nandos) and then went to the cinema and saw About Last Night which was like the worst movie ever! Do not go see it! Seriously! Haha! Here's a few pics of the night and a very quick OOTD (even managed to get Kevin to stand in for his first OOTD wooo!). My jumper is €8 from Penneys, my skirt is €11 (currently on sale for €5) from Penneys, my shoes were €8 or €11 from Penneys, my satchel was €11 from Penneys and my necklace was €5 also from Penneys! Smart Casual You Say?

There comes a time in your life where you grow up and enter the big new world of work! Well I'm almost at that stage! So when it comes to dressing for work, I've been told smart/casual is the norm. So...WHAT IS SMART CASUAL?! I have literally questioned this over and over again and googled it to find far more smart outfits than what meets the smart casual threshold. So I figured a suit was too smart and jeans perhaps too casual. So I think I have finally understood what smart casual is. 

I've added a few photos of outfits that I would wear. I usually just wear black jeans with a knitted jumper, cardigan, a nice top and a scarf. I also have worn a casual looking dress or skirt with a top, tights and a cardigan. I either wear flat ballet pumps or boots. This seems to be the norm!

Hope this helps your dilemma! I know when I first had to dress smart casual this post was urgently needed!
